FYI:

There is a small bird in the background, behind Jake, in about half the shots.  At the beginning of one of the takes, it even started to "tweat" and that was the take we used.

This was actually only a small scene in an otherwise full script.  This scene was mainly to show how psychotic Scarecrow was.  There isn't even a hacksaw in the scene.

took about 3 hours to film, the garage was freezing.

nathan and nic were great as the script and storyboard supervisors.  basically i didn't have to worry at all about any of the shots, and I could just concentrate on the scene itself.

First film filmed in the aspect ratio of 2.46:1.  I just thought that a film noir such as this needed something besides the black and white and contrast to pull off the style.  It's just so friggin' wide.
